LEX Summit 2026: A Survival Guide
A focused guide to the workshops, educational sessions, and networking opportunities that law firm technology, operations, and finance leaders should prioritize.

Growth

Large legal tech conferences can leave even the most experienced technology leaders overwhelmed by a week of product announcements and demos.
LEX Summit 2026 will take place between October 26-29 at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina, with attendance this year projected to be over 35% higher than 2025.
Between hands-on Basecamp training, educational sessions, side parties, and Matthew McConaughey and Kwame Christian headlining as keynote speakers, nearly everything on the agenda can feel like a do-not-miss event.
This schedule is built to help narrow your week based on your core focus: technology and AI, firm operations, and finance and revenue operations. All educational sessions are recorded, so we recommend attending workshops and interactive sessions when possible to get the most out of this conference. Review the LEX Summit FAQ for recording and CLE details.
All times are Pacific. Session details may change, so confirm them in the official 2026 agenda and event app before finalizing your schedule.
First, understand the shape of the week
Monday is the best day for concentrated training. Basecamp often follows instruction with a workshop on the same subject. Arrive with a current workflow or configuration problem and use the pair as working time.
Tuesday and Wednesday combine product announcements, practitioner sessions, Basecamp labs, customer examples, and exhibitors. Attending the Flight Deck Welcome Party and LEX Fest serve as good opportunities to meet other firm leaders outside of the exhibit hall and sessions. Interesting, unprompted conversations can come from these events.
Thursday is short but valuable: breakfast runs from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., followed by Ask an Expert from 9:00 to 10:30. The last day of a large conference leaves room for easier access to connect with speakers and other attendees.
Build the week around one focus
Before choosing sessions, identify a project, process, or technology decision your firm expects to address within the next twelve months. Define the KPIs the technology investment should improve and use those priorities to shape your schedule. Gather three kinds of evidence throughout the conference: what the technology can do, how another firm has implemented it, and what deployment would require from your team.
Building a secure, AI-ready technology stack
Use this schedule if your firm is evaluating AI deployment, security controls, integrations, or the architecture supporting Filevine. The priority is understanding what can operate securely and reliably in production.

What PointOne will be discussing: automatic time capture in the PMS environment
As firms make Filevine the operational center of their matters, timekeeping can remain disconnected from work occurring across email, documents, meetings, calls, and other applications.
PointOne integrates with Filevine, Aderant, Centerbase, Clio, Elite, LeanLaw, MyCase, and SurePoint, as well as legal billing and financial management platforms Juris and TimeSolv, to capture that activity and generate detailed time entries for attorney review.
Approved entries flow into the firm’s existing practice management workflow, helping firms create a more complete record of work without requiring attorneys to reconstruct their day manually.
Book a meeting with PointOne to discuss how automatic time capture can work within your firm’s Filevine environment.
