NEW YORK — October 28, 2026 — PointOne is part of Anthropic's Claude for Legal. Today, Anthropic expanded Claude for Legal with a gallery of ready-to-use legal artifacts and more than 60 legal connectors. PointOne's connector brings AI timekeeping to Claude for Legal, so lawyers can manage their time, check billing compliance, and get insights into matter performance without leaving Claude. The connector is available today in Claude's connector directory for firms that use PointOne.

Lawyers already bring their research, drafting, and review to Claude. Legal professionals are now the most engaged Claude Cowork users of any knowledge-work function. Until now, questions about their own time lived in a separate system. With PointOne connected, lawyers can ask their time data anything.

"AI is changing how legal work gets done, but firms also need to understand that work and its economics," said Jeremy Ben-Meir, CTO and Co-founder of PointOne. "By connecting PointOne to Claude, we're making the data behind legal work accessible where lawyers already work, helping firms move from simply capturing time to understanding and improving how work gets done."

How PointOne works in Claude for Legal

PointOne still captures time automatically as work happens. The connector gives lawyers a faster way to review, correct, and act on that time from Claude. With their approval, Claude can:

  • Review time entries and captured-activity suggestions, summarize time, and check compliance findings before anything goes out.

  • Log and fix time, up to 100 entries at once, including narratives, matters, and duplicates.

  • Release finished time for billing, after the lawyer reviews it.

A lawyer can ask, "What did I work on yesterday that isn't logged yet?" or "Are there any compliance problems in my time this week?" For setup steps, every permission, and more example prompts, see PointOne's Claude for lawyers guide.

Matter insights for firm leaders

PointOne admins with firm-wide access can ask Claude to summarize released time by client, matter, or timekeeper, or to check a matter's spending against its budget.

Same permissions, same ethical walls

Claude signs in as the lawyer, so it can see only what that lawyer can already see in PointOne, and often less. Ethical walls apply to every read and every change, and screened matters stay hidden from Claude. Claude can't change another person's time, even for admins, and it can't undo a release. A firm or lawyer can revoke access at any time, and revocation takes effect within about a minute. Firms can review PointOne's security and data protection practices.
